About Me
My first knowledge that some men pushed gender boundaries was Dr. Frank N. Furter in Rocky Horror Picture Show. That was 1978 and ever since I've been taken with men who enjoy and are sexually aroused by dressing in feminine attire or using articles such as lingerie for sexual gratification.
When earning my Ph.D. in human sexuality, I had the opportunity to expand my sexual horizons by getting to know all manner of transgenderism, including MTFs and FTMs, some of whom became good friends. This is an area of sexuality I admit to knowing less about than I do fetishism and crossdressing; I hope that through this fine community and writing my Ask Jane column we'll develop a rapport and sharing that will help light all our paths a bit.
Also in school, I also discovered that I would likely have been very comfortable connecting sexually with both sexes had I not been so strongly socialized as a die-hard heterosexual. I wonder if perhaps my love and fascination with men who play with gender has anything to do with this well-repressed aspect of my sexuality (hm, you think?).
I'm joining URNA because I wish to converse with TVs, TGs, TSs, and any other "trans" there might be. I want to know the turn-ons, its history in your life, the logistics, the social acceptability (or not), the secrecy and coming out process, and whatever else you care to share. In return, I offer relevant experiences I've had and knowledge I've gleaned.
Part of my business life has been spent conversing with men who crave walking on the wild side and have the courage to learn and accept their sexuality -- for me, it's not just business, but a personal passion.
I invite you to visit me at www.janevargas.com (new, and a work in
progress) and my business, www.tease.us. And write me anytime at
jane@jane.tv or through URNA on my Ask Jane page.
Many thanks. Jane V
