Hi everyone! My name is Jackie and I am a young transgendered T-Girl. Currently I am living about 1/2 time as Jackie with a the intent of eventually spending my life as a full time women. I am seeing a wonderful therapist who specializes in gender issues and MtF transitions and I started HRT October 1st, 2007!!! I've done the lazer and electrolysis and have rid myself of all facial hair. My natural hair is now below shoulder length and I'm planning to have FFS in June of 2009, and from that point on, I'll be full time Jackie!!!!!
From the time I was five I can remember having feelings that I knew were different. And my longing to be of the female gender filled my young life, as it has throughout my teen and adult life. And for many years, I was angry and confused about who I really was. I am sure my story is not that different from many of yours. But now, I've learned to accept, love and cherish the girl within, and I find joy in looking foward to the future.
The most important thing I have learned from facing this definite truth is that I CAN be the person I have always dreamed of, and I CAN and WILL be able to look in the mirror and love the girl I have been searching for all my life....ME!
Life is getting better and the fight has and will continue to be worth it. The work of becoming the girl of my dreams will never be done because its a life-long work-in-progress, but I am on my way. My dreams are coming true slowly but surely. I am finally on my journey.
